YORK REGIONAL POLICE STATEMENT ON INCREASED POLICE POWERS

SEX TRADE WORKERS CHALLENGE THE CONSTITUTIONALITY OF OUR PROSTITUTION LAWS

“Sex workers are still living in a criminal regime and they’re still working in that criminal regime, and it’s been difficult.” Perhaps instead of looking at the sex trade with a male paternalistic view, we should try viewing regulation from the sex-trade workers’ perspective.
