Unfortunately this is still a common tactic employed by York Regional Police drug squad officers – get a uniform cop to make a bogus traffic stop for the purpose of searching the car for drugs. In this case they searched the guy, searched his car, 6 cops assaulted him to the point of breaking his ribs and then in an attempt to cover up, charged him with assaulting police. You think this stuff happens elsewhere? It’s happening right here … in our home … to people like you and me.
